Welcome to the National Anti-Terrorism Centre, Zambia

The National Anti-Terrorism Centre (herein referred to as the Centre) was established under the Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2015. The Act was later repealed and replaced by the Anti-Terrorism and Non-Proliferation Act No. 6 of 2018 to provide for proliferation related offences. After Zambia’s mutual evaluation report from the Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG), deficiencies were noted in the 2018 Act as well as other operational challenges. This necessitated the amendment which is now being cited as the Anti-Terrorism and Non-Proliferation (Amendment) Act No. 6 of 2023.

WE ARE ONE

At NATC, we stand united against terrorism in all its forms. Together, as one Zambia, one nation, one community, and one people, we are committed to fostering peace, security, and stability. We recognize that terrorism has no borders, no religion, and no ethnicity.

Terrorism seeks to divide us, but we are stronger when we stand together. Let us stand together, hand in hand, to promote a culture of peace, love, and respect for all. Let us reject all forms of hatred, intolerance, and extremism.

We believe in the power of unity, compassion, and resilience. By supporting one another, and promoting tolerance, we can overcome fear and build a safer, brighter future for all.

Let us remember: we are one. Together, we can defeat hatred and violence, and create a world where peace prevails.
