What is the role of the National Anti -Terrorism Centre?
To coordinate the prevention, detection, response to, mitigation and investigation of terrorists acts, financing of terrorism, proliferation, proliferation financing and threats to internal security.This includes:

- drawing up plans and coordinating actions for counter-terrorism acts, terrorism financing, proliferation and proliferation financing
- providing law enforcement agencies access to the intelligence support necessary to execute counterterrorism tasks
- coordinate with investigation and intelligence agencies to ensure effective detection and prosecution of terrorism
- develop and promote the adoption of best practices for coordination of law enforcement agencies, government institutions and the general public in combating terrorism
